• Confirmed Elizabeth Hill, currently serving as the city’s interim director of human resources, as the permanent director.

Adopted the Dos Amigos and Del Norte specific area plans, and approved
three “corridor overlay zones” changing zoning and setting up specific
commercial areas and road plans in the Mariposa, Dos Amigos and Del
Norte areas.
• Tabled a budget amendment to allow the development services department to hire a commercial/structural plans examiner.
•
Accepted a $107,370 grant and approved a budget resolution for the
department of public safety for a gang prevention officer and expanded
program. The city will pay $12,194 in matching funds.
